She's Gone, Then Tears

By UTTubby

Dedicated to my Grandmother My heart she touched, I felt as pure as snow But snow have I none, Nor does she know. For the older she grew, Forever in a day There she was for me, I'm thankful I do pray. Never did I know, A time there would be She would come alive on print, For others to see. Time never stood still, Like dust in the wind Settle did it not, Even near her end. Even though she's passed, I know she's at rest Tomorrow, if I died, I would see her at her best. I've heard when we pass, Angels we do shine bright Purely and perfectly at peace, Like a baby wrapped in white. This Christmas be thankful, And treasure your loved ones Share your love with them, Forever...then life's done. © 2001 Dana Gallup (All rights reserved) Written December 14th, 2001 © on Dec 14 2001 06:56 AM PST   0 • 8
