Time for True Friends
By UTTubby
Others pass as we wander through time, Yet, time may soar or drift like a flowing stream, But, Tomorrow revolves like yesterday's chime, And, still we search for that special dream, In love, we've lost, yet some we gain, But, in dreams, we may feel tossed in the wind, And, Tomorrow may bring about pouring rain, Yet, we still keep pondering again and again, In life, we'll walk or run come what may, In death, the clock stops ticking, yet, Tomorrow the sun will rise and set a new day, We must be thankful for our friends, lest we forget, But, friendship comes and then it goes, The truest of friends, we smile with tri-fold, Hopefully, tomorrow will bring more; Who knows? For the truest ones sparkle just like pure gold. © 2002 Dana Gallup (All rights reserved) Written April 18th, 2002 © on Apr 18 2002 04:47 PM PST 0 • 9
