Where Do I Fit?

By UTTubby

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

So...where do I fit on this little place you call earth? Is there a spot for me or am I wishing upon a star? Am I damned or dreaming? Is this my imagination because I'm scared, (shaking) like a pirate forced to walk a plank. Even though I walk on this land, I'm forced to ride the ripples. I simply shall not hide because I cannot disappear. Not all books can be opened like knowlege, courage, and wisdom. And so, I'll hide between two covers somewhere between the pages. Perhaps, I shall hide in a paragraph, in a sentence, or in a word, but I'll hide...and be resurrected by someone who loves to read. © 2001 Dana Gallup (All rights reserved) Written November 9th, 2001 © on Nov 09 2001 12:00 AM PST   0 • 12
