The Night of the Faeries
By ValTiger14
You see them everywhere Across the wooded forest they soar In the starry maze of night Through willows waving softly To the powerful, whispering wind Through water sparkling clear Splashing upon the meadow grass The faeries fly gracefully Around trees swaying in the breeze Above waterfalls they fly Swooping down into the enchanted water They are the faeries of desire and pain Searching for hearts to make desire For all evil and hatred While they torment their souls Making them living dead beings Torturing anything they come upon These faeries deceive even By their charming sweet appearances You can hear them whispering in the night You can see their faces Staring at you with their evil grins Motioning you to follow them Through the night you follow them To their castles in Tartarus When the sun comes over the hills You wake up all is still and the faeries have disappeared Was it a dream or was it real?
