I went to a party the other night, My hormones were raging, And I would go home with any man in sight. I felt my blood pumping while I made my way around. My heart thumping to the sound of music bursting in my ears. I was making a choice, Trying to find a man One to understand my emotional ride SO I would not have to hide, the way I really am. I was told, I was looking for love in the wrong places. I refused to listen and closed my ears to everything but the music's base, And told everyone I needed space. I made my self through the party crowd, and there you were standing proud. You looked like the perfect catch to me A man I would love to spend my night with And hopefully wake up in your arms. And if I were lucky, you would be there till my alarms went off in the morning. We danced, We kissed, I was lost in emotional hormone bliss. We went home, had sex you were gone in a light sleep, Next morning my body felt weak I felt alone. once again no ones home but me.
