Dearly My Love

Dearly my love I write you a letter, Your sweet touch I miss. The night stars mist, writes out my name to you. I call but you don't answer, Are you still on earth? I have so many worries that your not alive, my sisters tell me to keep faith, and all my tears I must hide. I sleep alone every night I leave my gate open for you to come back home. And every night when its raining I remember the things we used to do, You would wake me with a kiss and whisper I love you, You would then pull me out of bed to run out in the rain. We would splash water on each other, and dance forever. Your kisses were sweet and they will always be missed. The night you were called in from the army was a night of crisis, Still I don't know when your coming home or if you ever will. I haven't received a letter in, a little over a year. And just so my memories wont slowly fade away. I squeeze my pillow tightly and dream of yesterday. I will never forget all those dreams of gold, when I was in your arms. how all things that were bad suddenly came out good. And I will keep faith and believe everything will come out right. And you will come awake me from my tragic sleep, And kiss my lips and whisper not to weep. And we will dance in the rain, one more time.
