Hole in Destiny
By VampireGirl
In the warm summer nights we spent our time driving around, Just being wild and having fun. Blasting music, let the moon roof come down. We would sing, and wave our hands in the air, Not one single care. No responsibilities, As if we had to worry? We had fights, and always made up with a "sorry" We expressed our selves in poetry everything limitless. We spent a lot of time at the beach, and swam out where no one else would go. I didn't expect one day for a shark to be there, I didn't expect for it to come our way. We were untouchable. We were so happy. The shark came up behind you, it was to late to yell for help, No one could hear anyway. you had a hold of my hand and let it go, I was to scared to save you, to scared to do anything but stay there. Now that your gone I cry every night on my pillow, Wondering where you are. no more car rides, no more fun. no more anything, because the shark won. When the funeral came around I couldn't seem to keep my food down, My mind kept reminding me, that it was my fault for not doing anything. And still I wonder if it should had been me, But god put a hole in destiny. Written January 16th, 2002 © on Jan 15 2002 04:19 PM PST, Shelly 0 • 1
