Let The Ghost Sleep
By VampireGirl
For so long she longed for this moment of peace where her body would be set free. The sound of screams slanted her beautiful voice in to the trees. She could not feel anything she touched. She could not taste anything she ate. she hadn't had a breath in years the last breath she remembered was followed by tears. Her skin beautiful and white as snow hear lips soft and moist her eyes sown shut to never see light again. She remembers it like a birth and she describes it in her mind like being born again. She walks, and no one can see her now and then those that believe, see her from the corner of their eyes They see a beautiful woman with tears among her face walking in a silk black dress waving good bye. Her family kept her room exactly the same they were scared she would never come back if everything didn't remain. She would look out the window of her room and be covered in gloom. She would stare out the window and see her old things, her memories that will never be the same. She is utterly alone and she still remains stuck at home. She has no passage way to her new life. She sits in an old chair where her grand mother once sat there, And cries tears that are clear for her eyes will not water. All blood was drained and all feelings caught inside not a day goes by she wants to hide. her parent's finely packed her old remains and put them in the storage along with pictures and other objects. it was only three days before Christmas and she knew things were soon to change. She saw her family gathered around the Christmas tree she asks of god to let her go and screams from her lungs and sown shut mouth SET ME FREE suddenly her family turn and look and notice it was really me. For so long I was ignored and put in between two worlds And all I wanted was to sleep silently. Written November 26th, 2001 © on Nov 25 2001 06:18 PM PST, Shelly 0 • 1
