Babe My words were so clear in my head But when I had the chance to say them my face turned red, My mind went blank and I didn't know what to think. In my voice I heard it shake, And I knew it wouldn't come out clear So I turned around and whipped away my falling tear. My heart thumped and run so abrupt. I thought of this perfect moment for years and thought I had it down well I guess it turns out that when heaven touched me so did hell. My lips felt as if they were soft and sweet, they got stuck together the moment my heart skipped a beat. My lips went numb and I knew that moment on that I would make more mistakes I tried to walk away before I took the wrong takes. My feet were unsteady and my body felt heavy and I tumbled to the ground my lips still numb and you were still around I pointed at you and waved with my hands hopping you would understand my demands But of course your a man and know nothing of my feelings. You said I can't read actions so talk to me, I couldn't talk but it got to me I was so pissed off and so embarrassed of what I had done My legs got the strength to get up and RUN. Everything in slow motion my heart was a devotion. And everything went rubbery my legs went out again and I run right in to a tree oops. Stupid me. Look what men do to me I feel so insecure.
