Town to town I travel, With only one suitcase I own.I have no memories of the past, Besides this old rear-view mirror I carry around. I have a car, That breaks down, about the same time as I do.I have no loved ones left in my family, And no one that would of ever married me. I am lost, And don't care where i'm headed to, All I knowis I think ahead and think nothing of you. You are the one that promised me the world, and left me with an empty space. You are the one that said gravity couldn't touch me, And it drifted me away.So now I'M 18, Still on my own. And seam's like every gas station I run in to has no telephone. The whole world feels empty like no one was ever here.I spend my night in a hotel room, cuddled up in the bed. Wishing and hoping that all this will end, I'M tired of being on my own,and going place to place, living for nothing, And trying to win the race of love.
