The Ride That Died
By VampireGirl
On a trip we take, to a place we want to go. children in the backseat, they can't wait to get there and they have been there a dozen times before. This time john my husband had a bad feeling, but we went anyway. We went to Disney world, and went on every ride that day, there were only two more rides to take, and a long line to wait. It was worth it, my children waited for this moment all summer long. I saw their eyes glow, when they saw the rollercoaster go high, they say it goes up to 85 mph and you can feel gravity fly. I had no idea, this was the last place we would go. it seemed just like any ordinary day, it was once again another Saturday. finally after hours of waiting, We got on we buckled our selves in, and let the wind settle in between us. My children in the back, me in the front suddenly it goes, and the wind catches up. Hearts pumping, eyes open wide. The track breaks open and there's no place to hide, Memories of the past, and all the fun we had came to mind, in my children's eyes I saw death arise. screams from the back rolls in to the front, coming in like a tide. We all flew off the tracks, and we all died. Written December 6th, 2001 © on Dec 06 2001 10:42 AM PST, Shelly 0 • 1
