Waiting For You

Today I waited for hours for you to come to me, To find an empty heart of pain and misery. I thought this time you could be trusted, I thought this time you would be true, You keep letting me down, and I don't know what to do. I've loved you for years, I've cried all my tears, I let the butterflies,fly away. But it still comes back from yesterday. All these years, we've never been apart. One day you took my heart, Giving me the feeling that your going on to another life to rest. I wish you would think of me, and tell me "IM your best But I don't hear you, I don't see you. So was this night worth breaking? IS my heart worth taking? How was I to know, that living in small town would do me harm. That you would be like every man around here. Have sex with the whores, then leave them here while you travel the world, Thet is not how things are supposed to be, You should remind your self every time you think of me, That you are an average person for leaving me, And I thought you were more, IM the ONLY ONE, that ever thought you were poor, You were the boy that was white trash, You were the one with those, dreams of flashes. I believed you, I told you they could be true. But I'm the only one your leaving, And I'm the only one your killing. So leave if you want to BUT later on in life, dont come back seeking for the one that was true, Because you wont find her here waiting on you.
