White Lies

By voice of reason

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

If truth be told instead of lies, would we all lead much better lives? Little white lies... Necessity! To live in peace and harmony. If noses grew for each lie told, we all would stand out in the cold. "Honesty hurts!" is my belief; better to lie than cause you grief. Relationships would quickly die; could not survive without white lies."Everything I say is a lie, and that's the truth!".... So, if it's true that everything I say is a lie, can you believe what I just said or not?" ~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~*~~* It has been said that in a normal conversation, a person lies every five minutes.
