We Say (Untitled)

By wanderingpoet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Bits and bytes sent over steel nooses Yet no response Tireless hours Spent in tortures thrones Yet time ill wasted Waking nights staring at snowy pearl skies Yet agonized twists upon rumpled sheets And so goes the torture of two stared souls Whose’ fought and bled for times within reality Who’s playful ambitions turned to lover’s banes Who’s realities shuns the other, yet heart cannot release? We say we are distant Yet, can we know why? We say our vibes are evil Yet vibes are cured with a sole kiss We say we are in love Yet where are the words to follow? We say we are suffering Yet why do we not escape? Escape to our own world To our own reality? Why do we always wait? So say “I love you?” You say that I’m distant… And to open up is a danger Yet to open is to close the distance Before we become a stranger… Written March 1st, 2002 © on Mar 01 2002 06:33 AM PST   0 • 1
