Blowing Turkey Town

(On The Mountain) The stars are beautiful tonight Brilliant ebulliences of light Over the living born to die Against their will not knowing why Over the ocean's tidal roar The rose tinged scarlets soar The sunsets will subside The drenching rains will hide Their heavy shrouds will fall Like tombs of gathered gloom In the forest darkened gloom While on the mountain high Celestial sequined sprites Sparkling swirling spheres Blink and twink in speedy flight Against their will not knowing why Upon the living born to die Let their distant beams deify No hopeless dismal remorse Vex the Lord's true course The stars are beautiful tonight In beacon mustard seed skies God's faith traveling light Written March 27th, 2002 © on Mar 27 2002 06:47 AM PST   17 • 0 • 9
