The Peeping Tom Box

By Wesley Storer

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

It was a little black and white t.v. Dirty and grimey with a faded screen Old with a screwed up vertical hold I felt it was messing with my soul It was always going out of control I taped a sheet of paper to its front 'peeping tom box - requires adjusting' Took it to the 4th floor garbage room amid the squalor of the nut house hotel Then the the fire alarm went off again I think it was diseased I feel better It was driving me crazier than hell Besides I think it was watching me Now I just lay there on my bed Blubbering lines of poesy rhyme In my head Written January 22nd, 2002 © on Jan 22 2002 06:12 AM PST   0 • 14
