~ A Place of Purity ~

By WolfsWhisper

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Once there was a place so perfect and so pure, With a maze like walk through garden full of multi scented herbs. There was a winding path over a blue bridge across a stream, Following the trail through a forest down to a sandy beach. Feeling a constant gentle breeze hearing the rushing waters, Gazing upon the little lake at a clear reflection, A voice on the wind sings, ~Be cleansed~. Wandering back to the ancient wood, Letting its spirits guide the way. Listening to the animals as they chatter ~Keep moving~, Letting the scent of the trees calm the senses. Winding through the underbrush coming upon a spring, Sitting down by it quietly to meditate. Bubbling up from the depths of the earth, Cooling at the surface. The sound releasing tension. Awaken peacefully rejuvenated, Crouching down with hands cupped. Drinking the sacred waters, They sweetly speak ~Be refreshed~. Stand up stretch following the trail back as the sun sets. Arriving at a cabin with a deck looking over the stream, A gazebo to the right with roses climbing up the archways side. Enter through a sliding door to a room lit by candles and a fire, Two cozy couches resting waiting for someone to comfort. Crawling onto the couch curling up into a ball, Being covered by a warm blanket snuggling in while being held. Heavy eyes drifting shut as the moon rises overhead. Opening eyes awakening laying at home in bed.um...yea...i'm sure there's a few people who know of this place...just wish i could have wrote this better...
