Shadow In Nowhere Land

The sun shimmers in the heavens, Casting rainbows across skies so blue. Down on earth I see them, White light broken up in different hues. Moon revolving around us, Pulling water’s tides. At night we gaze upon her, Yet we only see one side. Suns shadow takes her over, Making her wax and wane. A dance since time began, A swiftly spinning game. Standing in earth’s shadow black now, Over-shined by all and feeling lost. Stepping into destiny’s hands, Not caring about the cost. Close my eyes fall blindly, Praying to head towards the light. Open them up see space, Trapped weightlessly in flight. Stars twinkle in the distance, Way off far Orion’s belt. Reach a hand out to the darkness, Feel my heart begin to melt. Listen to the silence, No voices I can hear. Loneliness washing over me, Spine tingling sense of fear. Held tightly by the shadows, Fighting to take a breath. Frozen out in nowhere land, Preparing myself for death.Not really sure what this is about. Just something that came to mind and I felt like writing down.
