Over Said

"It's Over!" Have you heard that before? Hearing it doesn't make it so. He said it with meaning, But it can't be true. How can it be over if I still love you? "It's over for me! Just except it!" he says Saying it doesn't make it so, it's just not real. But I'm looking at the empty spot From which he escaped, only seconds before. He left me standing, staring at the door. "It's Over!", he'd said looking not the least destroyed. He didn't love me, didn't love me anymore. "Just except it!" he'd said, slamming the door. "But I love you!" I cried, as I slipped to the floor.I know it doesn't all rhyme, but it says what I was trying to convey. My Ex would walk out of the house say it's over and he didn't love me and I would slip to the floor and cry and cry. Only to have him return the next day to say he was sorry, after he had had his fling or night of single life. It was finally over for me the day I did not cry and sent him out the door.
