Heartless
By Xirtam
I long for love the kind to weep. But hate is looking for the benefits to reap. Taking heat from all love's fire. Locking away light, and all love's desire. Never again to see love's fate. And all you can do, is wait for the hate. You try to shed light on all the dark. But hatred holds tighter and leaves it's mark. Sitting there swimming through your own brain, You hit the abscence, and go insane. You now know there is no turning back. You're forced to stay there, and stare at the black.Creepy and weird. I don't know how this poem came to me. Written April 8th, 2002 © on Apr 07 2002 05:12 PM PST 20 • 0 • 1
