Lost my life
By Xirtam
Laid down softly on the floor, not one sound, and my lifes no more. Is this the end, is that death I hear? Haunting the living is what I fear. The dark day hovers around your life. Your life is hunted with the grim reaper's knife. I walk in living, and not one clue. Was I alone? I wish I knew. The lights were out, and not one sound. But wait! A hint of breath was found. I turn to find me face to face, with an unknown figure that sparked the chase. I turn to run, but theres no where to go. I'm left to try and fight the foe. I gave up. My energy is a wreck. And then I felt the grip on the neck. I slowly lost all the air. I lost life without one care. Laid down softly on the floor, not one sound, and my lifes no more.Another one of my tragic poems. I hope you're not scared, because she is behind you right now. Written April 18th, 2002 © on Apr 17 2002 11:04 PM PST 0 • 1
