Sonnet Three
Art thou truly ashamed of loving me?But, I thought thou possessed sincere care.I thought thou spoke only fidelity.Yet, thou hast fooled me with the mask thee wears. Why didst thou unto me do such a wrong?Thy feelings, part of a fooling facade.Torturing mine tender heart all along. When mine heart thought of thee as a worthy god. Now, attempting to unweave this love web.To free meself from this broken cradle.Trying to pay an unpayable debt - A deed which I have not done, yet enabled. Trying to find the pieces of my heart, Stitch them together and find broken art. Written August 28th, 2001 © on Aug 28 2001 02:18 AM PST 0 • 8
