Forgotten
By acidcrys
Ashes crawl up my weak ankles. Clothes dance about my melting body. Wind licks the moisture from my brazen skin. I am left standing. Liquid pours into my calloused soul. Eyes feed upon my racing pulse. Tongues weave through my tangled hair I am left staring. Ignorance laces between the grooves of my mind. Dust breeds within the walls of my lungs. Words unspoken graze upon my tender lips. I am left sighing. Grounds collapse swallowing my hallow stand. Skies shatter filling my blind stare. Sound dies claiming my unheard sighs. And I am left forgotten. When I was writing this, and rereading it, I got an image of myself, standing in the middle of a desert.. standing.. and staring at the endless horizons- staring at him. I cant see him, but he's there. There's a much deeper explanation to all of it.. but I want everyones own view. Written October 10th, 2001 © on Oct 11 2001 06:25 AM PST 18 • 0 • 1
