By ainsleyjo

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I got it on a Monday, and my heart stood still-- Boo-Hoo Ron Ron Ron Boo-Hoo Ron Ron. Arriving straight from Hell, it was my telephone bill-- Boo-Hoo Ron Ron Ron Boo-Hoo Ron Ron. Yes, my heart stood still When I saw my telephone bill; Now, I've got to mortgage my home-- Boo-Hoo Ron Ron Ron Boo-Hoo Ron Ron! I knew, then, that I'd stayed too long on the line-- Boo-Hoo Ron Ron Ron Boo-Hoo Ron Ron. Now, my bank account and I don't feel so fine-- Boo-Hoo Ron Ron Ron Boo-Hoo Ron Ron. Yes, I'd stayed too long on the line; Now, I do not feel so fine; And I've gotta mortgage my home-- Boo-Hoo Ron Ron Ron Boo-Hoo Ron Ron! No more calls from me until I have paid this nasty bill And the mortgage on my home-- Boo-Hoo Ron Ron Ron Boo-Hoo Ron Ron; Boo-Hoo Ron Ron Ron Boo-Hoo Ron Ron!I wrote this in July of 1996, inspired by the eye-popping total of my most-recent phone bill!
