Are You Depressed (You’ll Be Just Fine)

By Anganiesha

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Are you depressed? You should be.You did me wrong, all you wanted was to see was me undressed.I’m not impressed because of the way you did me.I used to be yours; you used to be mine.Everything seemed fine. Well at first. Now we’re not together. I should be the one who’s upset. To be honest I couldn’t be happier. Why are you hurting?Did you finally realize that you don’t know what you got till it’s gone.I play a song that makes me smile so I don’t think about you.Thinking about you makes me sick. I don’t know why I held on so long. You made me weak, but now I am strong. Are you depressed because you don’t know my aware a bouts? You don’t know who I’m with. Oh well that’s your fault. It didn’t have to be that way. You made your bed so lie in it.I’m finished with everything I’m not taking no more. You call me begging for forgiveness. You are really depressed. But you know what. You will be just fine. Don’t cry.I’m not depressed, I moved on so I want you to do the same.I can understand why you are depressed, but I told you…you will be just fine Written October 25th, 2001 © on Oct 25 2001 03:41 PM PST   18 • 0 • 1
