I paint you with warm colors pastel tints that soften the worlds harshness your hope is splashed in white it blots out the darkness I am inspired therefore I will exhibit it to others you are a cool valley of rain-fed, spring greens wherein your shade protects the tiny toddlers dancing on stubby legs bare toes flexing sired by all nations giggles echoing heavenward they find shelter in your crimson smile from the burning masses that linger as flaws to life's beauty all that which I struggle to portray from the bleak palette before me your healing hands are comforting vines that grow connecting living cells that create flowers that will soon rebloom your eyes are moist pools fed by tears in the storms but they nurture by their deeper awareness your soft lips beckon me to leave a brief touch two opposite souls entwined in total togetherness I will stroll with you on the banks of the cleansing waters and tarry long after we find seperate paths again I paint you as a friend the first step to a masterpiece unfolding between us may all the world see the beauty of two different souls enjoined. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Much Peace-Artis Written November 13th, 2001 © on Nov 13 2001 02:59 AM PST   0 • 12
