Finally

By Aurain

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Finally, to rest one night free and in peace Finally, to wake up refreshed Finally, Finally, Finally are words on everyone's lips. To run in the wind that smells so sweet To leap with joy in a world of happiness To sing with others hand in hand. Holding on to others to keep yourself from falling Holding on each thread of sanity Holding on, enduring, is what all of us had done. We all deserve this release We all rest finally in someone else's hand We all relax with relief of joy, each tired but happy. Finally, we have seen the promise fulfilled Finally, we can enjoy true perfection Finally, Finally, Finally, are words on everyone's lips.2 years ago, Written November 26th, 2001 © on Nov 26 2001 04:42 AM PST   18 • 0 • 13
