Nothing I Can Do

By Aurain

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Nothing I can do Nothing I can change to make it all seem right I haven’t done a thing Yet I feel like I’m the one to blame I don’t have a clue at what I’m supposed to do In this world I haven’t got you Nothing I can do to change this between us How do I make it all right? Nothing for me to do I can’t tell the truth from the lie Haven’t done a thing but I hurt you Twist this pain around Turn it upside down It’s real and up to you I’ve changed from what I used to be I’ve realized my soul has died And I am gone – Nothing I can do I can’t turn back and make the difference Would I ever care if I weren’t caught? I think not. Written November 6th, 2001 © on Dec 20 2001 09:20 AM PST   0 • 1
