Nature's Voice Unheard

By Avalon

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Come sit under the billowing tree Listen to it's call It speaks to you, tells you truths Truths a thousand years old. See the butterfly flittering Gliding between the flowers It has a voice, can you hear it A voice of magickal powers. Caress the silken waters of this singing stream Listen to it's song It sings a harmony of wonder and beauty A beauty a million years strong. Feel the winds blow gently Whispers delicately in your ear Let it carry your spirit through the clouds Let the softness melt away your fears. Speak to the dainty bouncy squirrel Hear it's little story It can tell you things you never knew About the majestic natural glory. Nature speaks in it's voice unheard A voice of hope and love so grand If only we could listen If only we could understand. Written March 23rd, 2002 © on Mar 23 2002 01:43 PM PST   0 • 13
