The Dreams of an Entity

By Avalon

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The world as we know it seems natural But really the world is endless Alternating realities, How do we know we exist? For all we know we are merely a dream A dream of a supernatural entity Performing the acts of his twisted mind But what happens when he wakes up? Will the universe we live in stop turning Pause mid-air, mid-breath But the important question is Will this dream return? Will we ever exist again Will we continue these 'lives' If we do exist in the dream of an entity What does that make us? We know we're not immortal Therefore the entity is mortal too And if we only exist in his dreams What happens when he dies? Written March 14th, 2002 © on Mar 13 2002 05:29 PM PST   0 • 10
