A Life Beyond Mortality.
By bdgrey
And so the land beyond the stars, has yet to be mortally seen. The closest way this world appears, is through affection beyond worldly means. What awaits when I leave this world? Will she come along with me? This I pray every night before slumber, that one day together we will ascend. I do not wait with eager anticipation, for that final chapter to be written. For when it is then no longer will I have affect down here, that I so desperately need. My mortal eyes will turn to light, and then my life will be over. So now I do as much as possible, in order to ensure a great legacy. So I live with all my life, for compassion beyond all extremities. A destiny awaits though mysterious in form, and dreams linger for all to realize. This is my dream and my reality. A passion for verse and written word, yet it pales in comparison to my souls only equal. We are bound by love, yet live eternally. When the land beyond the stars becomes a great veracity. I will be present but not alone, for an endless love stands beside me. Written November 15th, 2001 © on Nov 15 2001 03:10 PM PST 0 • 8
