Have Faith
By bdgrey
When the last tear has been spent, and my soul to you I have lent, is no longer taken for granted, I shall arrive once again, for your hand. You say you love everything about me, but when I need your trust, your faith in me turns to dust. How can love survive without conviction? The mistakes you've made have been forgiven, yet the ones I've done have left you smitten. The truth lies in my heart and eyes, but you look to the gaping sky. When trust fails to release the heart, very little choice is left except to part. How can love survive on love alone? My dreams in life are most vivid indeed, but it is our connection I so desperately need. A heart with a crack can be easily sealed, but a shattered heart cannot be healed. So please my love I'm begging you please, to have faith in us and trust in me. Love can survive with two open eyes, but most importantly, communication for life.
