Here's to the Future
By bdgrey
Pondering, wandering I could spend my life, reflecting on all of life's greatest plights. None so clear as to the world lived in dreams, and never quite as vivid from those I have seen. So sitting in a meadow by a cattail strewn lake, relinquishing my mind to the flutter of a Drake, I all too soon realize what purpose I have here, forever embedded in my soul, escaping through dry tears. A life so young and full of amiable hope, may not end until I have said so. Pondering, wandering I will spend my nights, with pen down to paper until my soul does take flight. Each little cloud in the sky dark or bright, emotions and images in my head will I write. So until the end has set its heavy boot, I'll become what I will expanding each root.
