Hypnotize the Moon pt. 3
By bdgrey
A magnanimous creature in elegant silk, gracefully steps with an appropriation of my heart. Two emeralds shine as do pearly whites, while auburn locks glisten in the soft accolade of light.A distilled silence follows with all eyes diverted, and both cheeks liken themselves to the pink pettles of a rose.Soon the chatter commences with conversation in small, yet I remain focused on the bell of the ball.I quiver in step as I venture towards her light, for true beauty in love I have now felt this night. An amiable smile spreads across her seamless face,as my heart leaps and I stutter 'May I have this dance please?'Accepting my proposal I take her diminuitive kind hand, elated to be with her dancing on air.The music plays softly as I become lost in her eyes, this moment should be sheltered and kept for all time. When at an end to this adorned tune, she gazes into my eyes as I'm praying for 'I love you.'The moment passes all too quickly with the clock,so I retreat peacefully, kissing the back of her hand.I walk through the door with heart still in the stars,a penury for fresh air calming my euphoric soul.A labrynth appears, I must not have noticed it before,so I saunter and enter its cordial, hedge door.To my left a bath for friends of a feather, and my right a bench for those weary in heart and mind.I sit down softly as the cold seeps through my clothes, and gaze up philosophically at Ursa Major's form.Aphrodite she is, playing with hearts of all men,am I no different, no more special than them? The night moves on as the heavens rotate north, and there in the shadows I see refined, wanting figure. It is her! The girl longed for so deep in my dreams. Can she love me? Is it me that she so desperately needs? She steps again softly never losing eye contact,in my direction beneath the light of the moon, concealed by the maze. She really is the girl from the painting,I so long ago saw as I remained patiently waiting. The stars have been charmed as the heavens watch in delight, for what may develop this diffinitive night.Well I'm going to end it at that. But I would like to know if anyone thinks I should write a second chapter to this? If so, I will definitely do it, and if not, then you will just have to be left wondering. Tell me what you think. :) Written January 8th, 2002 © on Jan 08 2002 03:55 AM PST 0 • 8
