Jerry Salo, Definition of Perfection
By bdgrey
Jerry Salo lived a perfect life.He had been given everything he had ever desired. The man accomplished so much, and never faltered at anything.People flocked to his side when he entered a room, over his aura they all constantly loomed.A shortage of women had strucken the town, for all were dreaming of him confined to their beds.He had certainly been taken, no longer single,by a lovely young lady with gold in her eyes. His father an aristocrat, with success beyond dreams, had taught Jerry well of victorious means.Never alone, incessantly seen,Jerry was popular to say the very least. So one rainy day, when things were at their best,Jerry put his life to a definitive test.He slit his arm from elbow to wrist, ended his life, and well,... that was it.This poem is to eliminate envy over anyone. Everyone has problems, no matter who that person is. Be happy with yourself, and don't try be anyone other than yourself. For you are the most important person.
