The Crow
By bdgrey
Very few things in life are certain, But there is a select group. So on that note, I have listed a few. It can’t rain forever, for eventually sun will shine. Times will be rough, yet somehow we get by. Someday you’ll wake up late, for your first full nights rest in a while. You may go hungry, but never shall you starve. Eventually you will cry over the departure of a soul, And your mother’s love will surely surprise, In the strangest of times. No one is immortal and Winter proves cold, Yet a memory locks a moment in time, And Spring brings forth new born forms of life. Cigarettes cause cancer and drivers drink till they’re drunk. A baby will be born with innocence still here. Lessons will be learned at the expense of your pride. Dreams will be shattered. Dreams will be accomplished. One thing above all else, that still rains supreme, Is that love is beautiful, and everlasting. So fear nothing, for life is a plethora of uncertainty, With the greatest of rewards, and a lack of an ending.Well, something that came out as I was about to go to bed, so I got my lazy butt up, and just wrote some ideas down. A little whacked out, and definitely weird, but hey, it's my thoughts. I felt something, so I wrote something in an attempt to let something out. There may or may not be any revisions, to either improve this, or add on to it. Either way, this is the original copy, so enjoy. Thank you very much.
