Thoughts On Reaction

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The world sits apart from physical discretion, as I relate what I can based on perception. So often I passively sit and think, of what troubles me yet life passes in a blink. I don't have the time to ponder philosophically, so acting on instinct instead of long thought, is the way to living life to its fullest extent. Yet mistakes can be made when done in haste, and that's when things fail, when acted from bad taste. So there must be some medium in which to move, so that greatness can be achieved and valor too proved. Where does it lie in the soul and the mind, it's different for everyone when looked from behind, yet it's all one in the same, consistently named, that which is apparently blind. So the difference appears as conistent in time, and must be taken with ghostly hands of a mime. Written December 8th, 2001 © on Dec 07 2001 03:58 PM PST   17 • 0 • 12
