Two Perspectives: Rain Storm
By bdgrey
A thickening storm with gails in fright, torment a torrential, restless dark night. Nothing so soothing as the patter of rain, with claps of thunder as the sky lights up without pain. Restless eyes stare frightened and scared, out of waterfall windows with minds blindly prepared. Gusts of winds are welcome as they tear through light curtains, as trees sway helplessly with much left uncertain. Rivers grow wider and rip through wise trees, as violent winds erupt while rusty gates inaudibly wheeze. Precious puddles form and reflect each lighted blast, as streets quickly brighten and darken just as fast. Forgotten nightmares emerge in the minds of tired youth, gripping their blankets, they pray for some truth. Nothing can be done except to enjoy nature's show, for a rareity it is for brilliance at tow. A storm is just that and tries for nothing else. It rains and makes noise and that's what it does. What fear can be seen when nature provides beauty? A form obscure this is true, but gorgeous nonetheless.Well it's my first one in a while. I hope you all enjoy it. Sorry I've been gone so long, but I'm back, and I hope everyone remembers me. Bryan Written February 22nd, 2002 © on Feb 21 2002 04:12 PM PST 0 • 10
