Thanatos and Eros

By Beyond Zion

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Bring your walls, and I will bring the wind. Bring fire, and I will bring water. Bring hate, and I will bring hope. Bring violence, and I will bring peace. Bring ignorance, and I will bring knowledge. Show me a child, and I will show you the future. Lend me your weakness and I will make you strong. Give me your doubt, and I will prove faith. Release your fear, and I will capture courage. Pass me the mirror, and I will show you your beauty. Written February 12th, 2002 © on Feb 12 2002 04:43 AM PST   18 • 0 • 13
