True highways....

By Beyond Zion

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Vast are the highways of the universe. We sit and contemplate: Where are we? In the wake of a druken glaze, the epiphany hits, Nowhere. But how? We have to stand some where, some ground, contained within some atmosphere. But what if we aren't? Where would we be? Why would we be here, sitting, contemplating this if it weren't possible? What if paradise is infront of us, but our self taught paradigms keep it obscure. We are roaming on this sphere incoherantly, aimlessly, forgetting the possibility of impossibility. Why limit the taste of life to your eyes? Fly past the rings of Saturn, to where the pheonix sleeps, and resurrect what your childerens eyes still glimmer about. Don't loose yourself in these streets of concrete, they're temporary, you are not, you're more infinite than the thoughts of god. Written February 8th, 2002 © on Feb 08 2002 07:06 AM PST   0 • 13
