Like Pegasus with broken wings The horse that cannot fly, Drugs gave me wings to soar Then it took away the sky. And when the music sang to me Her voice was sweet and clear. She filled the night with melody And held me very near. Now the bells toll that awful sound And I am all alone Lost, afraid, I n a dark room Nowhere to be found. I am drowning in a sea of Shit The stench is driving me mad Searching hard for my next hit And feeling oh so bad My blood is sick, The Flesh is dead The needle marks are there, The sad eyes hang out my head And I wish sometimes I cared.
