Song of Sacramentus
By Brazos
Song of Sacramentus Ahh, Sacramentus, where live you now? Is it at my place, or another of distinction. Do you plumb at existence, or teach us how? Are are you gone, gone, to your extinction. I recall when you were everything to me, Your being, your essence, your very reflection. Or did you grow tired of my everyday plea.. Did tending to me cause your defection? I miss you now, for I've lost my guide, Who will tend me, during the poet's travel? I fear the worst; you'll not me abide. I fear you'll leave me, and let me unravel. A poet without a star, is a poet wasted; Come back to me, and show me the way. Leave out the women I've hurriedly tasted. Sacramentus! You'll not leave me astray! I'll find you somehow, though it take me long, Even in my mind, or perhaps on Earth. In your guidance is the place I belong, For by your grace, does the poet rebirth.
