Holding your picture in my arms Dancing together across the floor Almost the way it could have been If only you had only loved me more Close enough to feel your heartbeat Swirling together in an imaginary cloud Painting the world with a brilliant sheen Whispering your name outloud Dancing, though the music has ended With tears streaming down my face For I have seen what could have been And lost it without a trace.
