OOPS! ANOTHER YEAR By Dee Garner November 20, 2000 When I was young and full of life And time went by so slow I thought life would never end That forever I would go Then at twenty-nine I thought Thirty is way too old So I'll just remain here for now If I may be so bold Then another decade slipped by The time is going faster How can that be I thought Am I no longer my own master There's still twenty-four hours in a day It still takes three hundred sixty-five To make another year but hey..wait I'm way over the hill and still alive I don't feel that much older Look at the calendar, it can't be right My birthday's here already? Oops! Another year took flight Written November 20th, 2000 © on Oct 29 2001 12:10 PM PST, Dee Garner   0 • 18 • 4
