sing to me once more you used to sing me love songs as we lay awake each night our bed still warm and wrinkled from our ecstasy holding each other close silly little love songs you’d compose as you sang words only I would ever hear the music echoed through the hallways of our hearts i’d listen to every word each note a beat of our hearts and fall asleep in your arms knowing you’d be there when i’d awaken but now my sleep is broken by your soundless song for your heart beats no more except for another and still i listen i need to hear your song sung for my ears alone the words so soft and sweet wake me from this dream and sing to me once more dee garner January 20, 2002Written January 20th, 2002 © on Jan 20 2002 11:36 AM PST, Dee Garner   other • love
