Poem 028 - A Thought

By certifiablyinsane

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I just had I thought, if I died tomorrow, what would you say? Would you say that I was a nice person that you cared about? Would you say that I was the kind of person you admired and respected? Or would you say that I was heartless and careless, and not worthy of a second thought? What would you do? Would you cry for me, mourn my passing and wonder why I had to die so young? Or would you laugh, and smile, and thank god that I was finally put out of your misery? What would your remember me for? Would you remember my kind words, my laughter, my kind deeds? Or would you remember me for the harm I caused, the hateful things I said, and the people I hurt doing so. Would you remember me at all?
