Quick To Anger

By Chris Kramer

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Calm collected fury. Sever the jugular clean. Reach in,take hold,   Of your sense in being. Pardon the intrusion, But cast aside doubt; To whisper this moment, Set aside the shout. Bargain a position With subtle strategy; Dispense justice; Hold to dignity. Drown this possession, Sail to the soul; Listless will be your vessel, Watching afterglow. Lap at the waterline, Balance to the sway; Participant no longer In a deadly foray. When the hourglass turns And heaven measures past, Actions will be noted And judgement cast. Book of Knowledge entry, To be written ... An incident recorded; A connotation stricken.I always have problems with this ... I wish I could step back first when it does happen so that I can really assess what it is I'm upset about ... usually its something pretty stupid but by then it could be too late ... think they use 'white-out" upstairs ? :-D chris Written December 16th, 2001 © on Dec 16 2001 02:22 AM PST, Chris Kramer    0 • 12 • 11
