With Brightest Light And Love

By Chris Kramer

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Endings are such plain soliloquy "Sincerely" a sigh, so not for me; Let's be heart-strings, let's engage in flight, By telling others with pure delight- (Feel the rush escape as you let fly, watch close the faces of passersby): "WITH BRIGHTEST LIGHT AND LOVE!" Is said. It echoes and echoes Inside one's head; And, do you see? Lover never leaves; Poet begins to write; An Eye twinkles; Load becomes light; God-fearing bends knee; Lost feels found; Dream is now real and Whisper makes sound. Old becomes young; Busy rests awhile; Fear has forgotten and Joyless starts to smile; The Spirit Is felt and all eyes look above, For life is rekindled ... With Brightest Light And Love.
