Weeping Orchids
By Clean Serene
I knew myself before I found him. He was small. Small like a wasp. The look in his eye reminded me of the years I had wept away. Someday I knew I would have to quench the thirst of my foundation. I wanted to find the source of my Obsession. Cold... Bare... The wind drifted about my limbs. Dry... Anything for me. My orchid petals are wavering in the midst of affection. Deep with carnality. A placid silk so fine. The divine color of a bruised heart. He fell victim to the ruthless beauty of Persephone. Leave me while in full blossom. My petals will wilt without the grace of your tears. Autumn crept upon my soul. Orchid petals fallen to be wept away. Gone until the light awakens my sorrow once again. Enrapture me, As I have enchanted you. Forgive the innocent. Forget me.
