Final Farewell
By crestfallen
Her head at rest in a padded bedShe once had life but now is dead.Angels come, please with hastetake her to her eternal place.Cleanse her soul forgive her sin, look deeper than skin, judge her from within. Her place now with that ultimate rulerno longer willl anyone ever be cruel to her.Take for her back from evil her soul,Remove the pain thats taken its toll.Let her soar as an angel forever, let her live in the valley of peace. This was the first poem I ever wrote, it is about the death of my mother. It is dedicated to her memory. Written November 21st, 2001 © on Nov 21 2001 05:07 AM PST 18 • 0 • 10
